Richard Morris: becoming used to the playing experience

Berkshire U8 vs Devon – I managed to scratch my way to 10 from about 50 balls (not much has changed since). I batted at the other end to a lad called George Trewby who 25 years later is still one of my closest friends. I remember specifically feeling incredibly nervous and overawed by the prospect of playing county representative cricket, but over time started to enjoy that feeling and pressure a bit more.
