A collection of Club cricket memories

My cricket club Reed C.C. winning the National Village Cup at Lord's in 2012 with 11 out of 12 of the players having been brought through the Colts system by my wife and I. Richard Robertson

Game between Bassingbourn (my home club) and Hitchin 2nds in the 80's. We had "Fire engine stop play" - apparently some glass on the ground at the bushes on the boundary caused a fire, and a fire engine was called as the hedge was rapidly igniting. As fire engine was close, the game play had to be halted whilst the fire was dealt with. Geoff and Fiona Klein

Neil Bamford scoring his first Herts league hundred for North Mymms CC v Hemel Hempstead, two weeks after his mum died. Stuart Frast

Hitting Aidy Heywood for 5 x 6's in an over whilst playing for Bready against Fox Lodge. Boyd Rankin, Ireland and England

Playing cricket with my wonderful team mates at Hampstead recently at La Manga club in Spain as part of the first ever Women's Cricket Festival (set up by a friend). Great to be part of the fun and friendly team. It's all about the teas (with champagne!) for me. Charlotte Goodhew

When at Lord's in 2005 whilst watching a disabled cricket match, I got asked to join in the Ladies' match and scored winning runs. Rosemary Moore

All the small club grounds around Middlesex that are so hospitable. Phil Baldwin

All the days spent watching cricket on lazy summer afternoons. Johnny Suttle
