A Collection of memories of the Lord's Experience

Middlesex v Sussex. Brass band playing at the Pavilion End when Dexter came into bat. Titmus bowled a dolly for Dexter to hit into the band, who scattered and never returned. Mike Scantlin

22nd June 2014 - My first visit to Lord's today and a privilege to spend it with my Father and his mate, an MCC member since 1976 who smuggled us into the Pavilion. Morgan Howell

My first visit to Lord's is very memorable for the friendly and courteous greetings as soon as we arrived, and helpful guidance by the staff, a memory that will last a long while. Glad seeing Mike Gatting in the flesh. George Bell

I attended The Home of Cricket for champagne afternoon tea. We were lucky enough to sit right by the door to the steps in the long room. We then were fortunate enough to take a tour and see the England dressing room and stand on the balcony. Memories for life! Neil Fitch

Me and my dad were lucky enough to be one of the 50 people who had a sleepover at Lord's. We had a tour of the pavilion and in the changing rooms. We then watched the first day, I survived until 2 am where I fell asleep in the Lord's tennis court, once in a lifetime opportunity! Ben Jackson

In 1999 I worked in the building behind the clock tower at Lord's, we were made an office high up, and we could see everything that was happening such as painting, there was always something going on even in Winter. Anon
