Taking the Field is a historical collection with a difference.

Dedicated to celebrating grassroots cricket clubs and the importance they play in their communities, TTF gives local cricket clubs the chance to tell their own stories and share them with the world.

A collaborative project between the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and the George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling at the University of Glamorgan, TTF reflects the importance of grassroots cricket to local communities in both the UK and Sri Lanka. Local clubs tell their own stories using their voices, photographs and ideas. The digital stories are on display in the MCC Museum and on the TTF website at www.takingthefield.com
