A miscellany of Middlesex memories

Seeing Wayne Daniel hit a six over the old Grandstand for Middlesex v Kent in a JPL match in July 1980. He had also hit the preceding ball for six but this was actually dropped over the boundary by a fielder.

First, and only, Test Match attended to date, which was the first day of the Ashes Test in June 1981. I sat on the grass for most of the day, before occupying a vacant seat in the Nursery End for the last hour or so..

Seeing Jeff Thomson play for Middlesex in summer of 1981 and also the tourist game (13-15th June) before the Ashes Test

Seeing Mike Brearley bowl one over in 1979 v Warwickshire in the JPL. Christopher Ashbridge

Mddx v. Leics. Mike Gatting smashing Chris Lewis out of the game in about six overs, and Tuffers getting his County Cap at Uxbridge. Phil Baldwin
