A collection of Yorkshire memories

Darren Lehmann 190 odd at Scarborough best I've seen! My YCCC favourite player and born the same day as me! (5th February 1970). Love to see him back with Dizzy one day! Nick Hall

My favourite Yorkshire player over the years has to be Darren Lehmann. For me, he played like he didn't have a care in the world. So laid back, but boy could he play!! Mohammed Naeem

Eight games into my Yorkshire career scoring 75 not out to win the game against Warwickshire who included a rampant Allan Donald Simon Kellett

Watching my son Simon being capped by Yorkshire C.C.C. at Scarborough in 1997, scoring a century and being made Man of the Match. B. Kellett

A shout from the crowd at Headingley- 'Get on with it Love you boring ******' to Jim Love after slow progress. He hits the next 3 balls hit for 6. Love blocks the next ball. Fella shouts again 'Get on with it Love you boring..' Chris Jameson

As a teenager I was called to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club 'nets' at Easter. I used to bowl at Padgett, Close, Boycott, Sharpe, Wilson, Trueman, Nicholson, Taylor... They were stiff from winter 'rest' and I helped them get their eye in for the season. I went on to be an opener in the Bradford League (with teammates Phil Sharpe and Don Wilson, in the late 70s and early 80s) Richard Noble
